The Brief

Bradfor have been in business for over 20 years and wanted a major update from their old branding. Their brand was particularly dated and was in need of modernising in line with other competitors in the aviation industry. Bradfor creates airplane seat covers to a high standard for customers such as Qatar airlines.

They wanted a brand which incorporated a symbol so that people could associate Bradfor with the aviation industry. They wanted an overall image that meant potential clients could associate the brand with luxury and quality.

The Logo

When designing the logo for the brand, it had to reference the aircraft industry. The final logo was based on the tail of an aircraft that underlined the company name. It encapsulates what Bradfor stand for; quality, precision and efficiency. The addition of a gradient on the tail, gives the sense of luxury and quality, giving depth to a logo that would otherwise be flat. It was the starting point in order to build the brand around.

The Brochure Design

When considering the brochure design, I kept to the branding guidelines I had produced previously to ensure the brand would be consistent throughout. I produced a twenty page brochure that showcased all the key selling points Bradfor have to offer whilst also including awards, company profiles and objectives. This was used for both print and web based viewing.

Bradfor Background & Re-Brand

Bradfor Limited, a family owned business, was established in 1996 in Rostrevor, Northern Ireland. Such has been the success of the company; the workforce has increased considerably and in 2012 the Managing Director won the Outstanding Business Woman of the Year Award (Northern Ireland).

Bradfor had great input into their re-brand and ensured their feedback was concise and accurate which was paramount when producing a complete re-brand. It was essential to make sure the board were included in every aspect, helped in creating a modern and established brand.
